With over 30 years of experience in the industry, owner and expert jewellery designer Elizabeth Lloyd offers a wealth of knowledge and outstanding skill when it comes to Australian Opal jewellery.
Each unique piece made by Desert Jewells goes through many different stages, and hours of care are spent on each piece before it reaches our customers. All opals are carefully cut, polished and inlaid by Elizabeth in her Queensland workshop.
Desert Jewells only uses high quality opal mined from Australian opal fields in Coober Pedy, Andamooka, Queensland Boulder and Lightning Ridge. The opal fields are known for their high quality opal, and are found to be very stable. Our Australian opal jewellery features the finest black opals, boulder opals, white & crystal opals.
